“Nathan I swear to God, if you don’t hurry up, I will come in there and drag you out by your balls!” Jay’s grip on his phone tightened, as did his hold on the steering wheel of his car. He had been waiting for twenty minutes already and even though Harley was strangely calm about being late, he couldn’t find it in him to relax. Maybe it was because he was about to meet her parents and his tool of a best friend was about to make them late.
Harley wasn’t bothered in the slightest. She happily bobbed her head along to the music that was quietly playing on the car stereo. That was until one particular song came on. Harley’s eyes lit up when Nic Cester’s voice filled the car with ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl?’ and she immediately lunged forward to turn up the volume, not caring that Jay was still on the phone.
“Oh, four, five, six, c’mon and get your kicks. Now you don’t need money when you look like that, do ya honey?” Harley had never been a good singer, but it didn’t stop her from screeching out the lyrics at the top of her lungs, grabbing Jay’s attention. Slowly, a smile began to form on his lips, changing his expression from the scowl that he wore a few seconds ago as he watched her bounce around on her seat.
“What the fuck is that?” Nathan asked on the other side of the line.
“Lee singing.” Jay chortled.
Even though he couldn’t stop smiling from the scene that was unfolding in front of him, Jay still managed to sound threatening with his next word. “5 more minutes Nath, or we’re leaving without you.”
After hanging up, Jay turned his body in his seat so that he was facing Harley and crossed his arms over his crest, watching her in amusement.
“Big black boots, long brown hair. She’s so sweet, with her get back stare.” Harley added some exaggerated dance moves for good measure, including a few air grabs and air guitar solos.
Suddenly out of nowhere another voice was added in. A lot lower than Harley’s but just as out of pitch. “Well I could see, you home with me, but you were with another man. Yeah!” Both of them turned to see Nathan walking towards the car, stopping just in front of it to thrust his hips. “I know we, ain’t got much to say, before I could let you get away. Yeah!”
All of them were pretty sure the neighbors would be wondering what was happening and were slightly surprised that none of them had come outside to make sure everything was ok, because to be honest, the way they were singing sounded a lot like someone dying.
Nathan hopped into the back seat, reaching out to stroke Harley’s cheek dramatically. “I said are you gonna be my girl?”
Both he and Harley burst out laughing at that point, leaving Jay to shake his head at them in amusement. He turned the volume of the radio down, causing the other two to whine in protest. “Pipe down children.” He playfully scorned before starting the engine and backing out of Nathan’s driveway.
“Is someone jealous?” Nathan teased as he popped his head between the two front seats.
“No.” Jay pouted childishly.
Harley ‘awwed’ and tried to remedy it by quickly leaning over and kissing his cheek. “I’ll make it up to you later.” She whispered into his ear.
Suddenly a huge grin lit up his face and he shifted in his seat, already getting worked up with thoughts about what that evening might entail. “I don’t even want to know what she said to you to make you that happy.” Nathan grimaced, leaning back in his seat and crossing his arms.
“Is someone jealous?” Jay mimicked him from earlier.
When they arrived at Harley’s parents house half an hour later, Tom, Max and Siva were already there waiting in Tom’s car, having been given the directions the night before. As soon as Jay pulled up behind them, Tom jumped out of the car and walked over to open Harley’s door.
“Finally!” She tried to quickly undo her seat belt as he began to pull her out of the car and into a hug.
Harley giggled into his chest and patted his back, trying to indicate for him to let go as she slowly began to lose the ability to breath. “Someone’s excited.” She was able to choke out before he let go of her.
“He was fucking buzzing the whole way here.” Max chimed in as he made his way over to them, followed closely by Siva.
Siva nodded in agreement. “I’m pretty sure he was vibrating at one point.” Harley chuckled and looked at Tom who just grinned widely, not even trying to deny it.
The six of them made their way to the front door, and when five pairs of hands pushed Harley to the front, she got the hint and knocked on the door. She could feel something moving behind her and turned around to find Tom bouncing up and down on his toes excitedly.
“Sorry, I’m just really excited.” He smiled shyly at her and immediately stopped bouncing, not that Harley minded, she actually found it cute.
The front door behind her opened and Harley turned around to greet her mom with a big hug. “You really need to visit more.” She mumbled into her daughter’s hair as she squeezed her tightly against her.
When they pulled away from the hug, Tom launched himself at Harley’s mom, leaving her in a fit of giggles. “It’s nice to meet you Mrs Wilson.”
Once they had all done their introductions, the group made their way into Harley’s childhood home, making a b-line to the living room, where Mr Wilson and Abby were sitting. As soon as his youngest daughter walked in, Mr Wilson was off the couch and engulfed her in one of his legendary hugs. Harley smiled against his chest as she thought that he still gave the best hugs. “How you doing short stack?”
Harley chuckled and pulled out of the hug, hitting him gently on the chest. “Fine.” She looked over at Abby and smiled. “I didn’t know you were going to be here. You’ve disappeared the last few days.”
Abby stood up and walked over to her sister, giving her a quick hug. “I actually have some news.”
The smile on her face let Harley know that it was defiantly good news. “Yeah?”
Harley’s eyes widened and her mouth fell open slightly, but it didn’t last long before she pulled Abby into another hug, holding on a bit tighter this time. “Oh my God Abs. I’m so happy for you.”
From behind the two sisters, Tom cleared his throat making Harley spin around on her heels and grimace at the fact that she had forgotten that they were there. She quickly whispered to Abby that they would talk about the proposal later before walking over to stand with the guys. Mr Wilson took the lead however, and stuck out his hand for Tom to shake. “You must be Harley’s boyfriend.”
Everyone except for Mr Wilson burst out laughing. “No. God no.” Tom shook his head through his laughter.
“That would be me sir.” Jay stepped forward and shook his hand.
Harley looked at the two men. Her father was a tall man, but Jay gave him a run for his money standing just a few inches shorter than him. She had always wondered how she had turned out so short when both her mom and dad were both over 5 foot 10. She watched as Mr Wilson looked Jay up and down, a small smile appearing on his aging lips. She had a feeling that he would like Jay and from what she had seen so far, she was right.
“Nice tattoos.” Mr Wilson commented as he pointed to Jay’s right arm. Harley smiled at his lack of words; he had never been a very chatty guy, unless he was with his family.
Jay looked down at his arm and then back up at Mr Wilson, smiling. “Thank you.” He had to admit, he was a bit surprised, usually parents were a bit judgmental of his tattoos.
Seeing the surprise on his face, Mr Wilson tugged up the sleeve of his long sleeved shirt, revealing his sleeve of tattoos. He pointed to one in particular. “I got this one a few days ago. Harley designed it for me.” He looked over at said daughter with a smile of pride.
That’s one thing that would never change. How proud he was of his youngest daughter. They had always shared a special bond, it’s not that he didn’t get on with Abby, it’s just that he had always been closer to Harley, whereas Abby had always been closer to Mrs Wilson.
Mr and Mrs Wilson had never been the conventional kind of parents. Mr Wilson was a free lance artist who was well known around London so had no trouble selling her work. Mr Wilson used to work in the music industry, playing guitar with the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Dave Matthews Band. Now, he ran a local music shop, not wanting to completely abandon music but deciding that it was about time that he gave up his touring ways and settled for teaching others how to play guitar instead. So he was more than happy when Harley had told him that she wanted to work in a recording studio and had always supported, and more importantly, encouraged her. It was also why he wasn’t worried about her deciding to date someone in the industry, even if his band’s music wasn’t his cup of tea.
When Mrs Wilson walked through from the kitchen and told them that dinner was ready, the large group sat around the dining room table and conversation started flowing easily. Jay was still nervous, but had managed to pull himself together long enough to join in on tour stories and other aspects of the conversation. He could see why Harley had thought that he would get on with her dad. They hadn’t stopped talking about music since they sat down and Mr Wilson was surprised to learn that Jay’s music taste was actually quite good and didn’t only contain the Top 40.
Jay’s nerves didn’t go unnoticed by Harley though, despite his efforts to cover it. It may have been because she could feel his leg jerking up and down next to her, under the table. She gently placed her hand on his knee and started to rub small circles on it with her thumb, something that Jay had always found soothing and this time was no different. At the warmth of her hand through his jeans, Jay looked down at her and smiled gratefully.
Harley leant into him and placed her lips by his ear. “Relax, they love you.” After she placed a quick kiss behind his ear, she went back to sitting properly in her chair, but kept her hand on his knee.
Jay tried to go back to his previous conversation, but he couldn’t think about anything else but where Harley’s hand was. She would laugh at something one of the other boys said and absentmindedly move her hand further up his leg. It was such a small gesture, but for some reason in had Jay’s mind in a spin. Maybe it was because the memories of how that hand had been wrapped around his dick just yesterday came flooding back.
He awkwardly cleared his throat and shifted in his seat, feeling uncomfortable with how tight his jeans had suddenly gotten. “Harls, you’re killing me.” He quietly whispered into her ear at the same time that he covered her hand with his own.
Harley turned to him and looked down at his large hand that was enveloping hers, a small smirk tugging up her lips. She looked up to meet Jay’s eyes, noticing the way they pleaded for her to stop. But where was the fun in that? She wiggled her hand free from his and allowed it to run its course further up his thigh until it reached the part where both of his legs met. Her little finger skimmed over his crotch, his hardness not going unnoticed by her.
By now Jay was blushing profusely, while struggling to keep his cool. “You ok mate?” Max asked from the opposite side of the table.
Jay quickly nodded and cleared his throat before croaking out a ‘yeah fine’ which caused Harley to giggle. Max’s eyes shot towards her before trailing down her arm that was not so slyly positioned on Jay’s leg and his eyebrows shot upwards. It didn’t take much to realize what she was doing and he couldn’t help but imagine what it would be like if he was in Jay’s position, which in turn caused his own jeans to tighten in the crotch region.
Now with two extremely aroused and horny men sat at the table, conversation seemed to die down as everyone finished their meals. Every now and then Harley would playfully run or tap one of her fingers against Jay’s crotch, enjoying the reaction she got out of him. But when Harley offered to help her mom clean up, Jay took the opportunity to give a good first impression, while maybe getting some pay back on his girlfriend.
“No let me Mrs Wilson. You made dinner, it’s only right that someone else cleans up.” He smiled.
Mrs Wilson looked at Harley and raised her eyebrows in a ‘not bad’ expression, before looking back at Jay. “Thank you love. I like you.” She placed her hand on his check and gently patted it before following the others into the living room.
Harley looked over at Max, who was still sitting at the dining room table, staring into the distance. She walked up behind him and slipped her arms around his neck. “You alright George?”
Max jerked out of his trance in surprise before shifting uncomfortable in his chair. He couldn’t exactly say that he couldn’t get up right now, due to his little problem ‘down there’ and the fact that she now was so close that he could feel her breath against his neck wasn’t helping the situation, so instead he chuckled nervously. “Yeah I’m fine.” He turned his head to face her and smiled. “Do you need any help clearing up?”
“No, it’s fine. Just go relax with the others.” Harley stood up straight and turned around to clear some of the plates off the table, giving Max the opportunity to quickly get up and rush to the bathroom before she noticed, where he could sort out his ‘problem’.
Harley walked through to the kitchen where Jay was already waiting for her, pulling her into a hug as soon as she placed the plates in the sink. “That was mean.” He mumbled against her lips before he pushed his against them in a slow, deep kiss.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Harley faked innocent while clamping her teeth down on her bottom lip.
Jay let out a small moan mixed with a growl before pushing her into the counter and lifting her to sit on it, her legs automatically wrapping around his waist. His lips met hers again, in a much more hurried and hungry kiss. Lips were bitten, sucked and licked while their hands roamed each other’s bodies.
It would have gotten further if they hadn’t of heard someone walk into the kitchen behind them. Harley looked over Jay’s shoulder to see Max stood there, his cheeks a dark shade of red. “Fuck sake.” He mumbled, quickly turning on his heels and heading back in the direction of the bathroom. “Not again.”
“Are you ok?” Harley called after him, already feeling Jay’s lips on her neck.
Max raised his hand and gave her a thumbs up over his shoulder. “Fantastic, just give me a few minutes.”
